The Manitoulin Group of Companies has adopted a print management program to provide toner cartridges and service for our standard printer equipment across all companies and locations. Due to our size and diversity this provides us cost effective service and supplies.
This program is based on a cost per page for all devices. Each printer communicates with an application which automatically notifies the print management vendor that toner needs to be replenished or that the printer is in need of repair.

The following applies to ALL company printers within the Manitoulin Group of Companies. Printers that are on existing contracts are not covered by the print management company, but we still wish to have them labeled. These labels should be on ALL printers as we are attempting to look at power consumption and toner usage as well as adding these units for future maintenance and / or repair when a current contract expires.
The following printers are covered under print management – HP and LEXMARK.
The following printers are not covered under print management but may be covered by another contract – Xerox, Ricoh, Brother, Toshiba, Kyocera, Dell, Sharp, Canon, and Samsung. Some of these devices have been made exempt from this rule and have been added to the print management contract.
If a spare cartridge is required, you are running low, expect a higher than normal print volume, need your contact information changed, have a defective cartridge (not “performing” to standard), or do not have any of these labels affixed to your printer and need them please let IT or the following print management contact(s) know.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE TONERS OUT OF THE MACHINE AND SHAKE THEM after the initial install.
PLEASE KEEP ANY DEFECTIVE CARTRIDGES.
If you experience a problem with a defective cartridge please contact our print management company directly. A return label will be sent to you within 24 hours along with a replacement toner. Carlyle will then examine the problematic cartridge to determine the root cause of the issue.
